As a general guideline for transfer credits to a University program from College, no more than 50% transfer credits will be granted to a 4 year (120 credits) Degree program. York just granted you 75% transfer credits. You must have other credentials such as a Bachelor's degree or even a Masters degree from other institution(s).
Since you are in a BA program, I don't think Accounting courses are open to you. It might be a disadvantage for you to become an Accountant. but hey nothing is for certain (wow 90 transfer credits). Let me get this straight, are you sure you are in a BA program? your first post indicated that you applied to BAS major in Accounting, if it's the BAS program, you can complete all of acocunting courses for CGA, CMA and CA.
BAS program at Atkinson College (part of York University) is not actually a part time program. You can choose to have your courses scheduled on Saturdays or night time (after 6pm) or if you prefer, you can schedule them in day times. The difference in part and full time at Atkinson is the course load. If you take 3 courses or less, you are considered a part time student, if you have 4 or more courses registered in a semester, then you are a full time student.
Anyway, Centennial only have CGA level 3 courses with only 2 courses that can be challenged in CGA level 4. They are Taxation 1 (ACCT226 & FINA333) and Auditing 1 (FINA331 & FINA 332). You still have a long way to go in becoming a CGA. In other words, if you have completed the 4 courses I've mentioned, you can challenge 2 of CGA level 4 courses. Disregard my remarks above, you can complete all of CGA level 1 to 4 at Ryerson or York and gain challenge privilege in CGA PACE level courses.
good luck!更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
