This study explores how language and imagery in picture books can be used to increase 3-year-old children’s learning about other people's thoughts and feelings. In this study, we'll read a picture book with your child and ask her questions about it. The study typically involves two visits to the lab, with each visit being about 30-45 minutes long.
Because this study requires a certain level of English competence, at this time we're looking for typically developing children who hear English at home around 75% of the time or more.
Our lab is located near the downtown campus and subway line (just north of Spadina and Bloor), and you'll be reimbursed for either your parking expenses or your TTC fare (up to $20) to get here.
