Maybe my ID misled you. That was long time ago that I was hunting for a job. Just do not know how to change it.
I already satisfied CGA's requirement for a few years as you CGAs at other provinces. If a CGA from other province wants to transfer to QC, you will be the same status as me (pending issue of permit, if you cannot pass the French exam which was held by the French language office of the provinces (not related to CGA)). But the accountant who graduated from French university have no English requirement.
There are two kinds of CGAs in Quebec. One type of them have the licence because they satisfied the French requirement. The other type is the CGAs who are not passing the French exam, that's why the licence is pending. In these years, we are paying the annual due slightly less than the licensed CGAs but more than pace level Candidates. CGA assured us that we can stay in this status as long as we wanted. Now we were kicking out of the order by the new CPA order.
