Don't be so negative. My current company VP Finance is transferred from Shanghai, has been Canada for 6 months. I don't think she has any oversea education or designations.My husband scored 60~65 for almost all his CMA exams. I scored much higher and showed off how smart, smarter I am. He looked at me said: "Well after all we got the same letters. And I obviously put far less work than you. Who's real smart?"
I guess that's the culture difference. I never leaves exam early, he walks away whenever he feels he can pass.

I said many years ago, it's not about "oversea experience", it's about your communication skills. As long as you can describe (both resume and interview) your experience in a professional manner, most GTA employersdon't really care where you got the experience from.

My husband worked for accounting firm and engineer firm, it's impossible to set criteria to "local experience only" when they recruit. Actually the more skills company requires, the more likely they will get candidates with international background.
